Migraine pill may help alcoholics stop drinking

A migraine medication may help alcoholics reduce their drinking without first needing to abstain from alcohol, according to a recent study. Topamax works differently than three other medications approved for treating alcoholism, according to the study published in the Journal of the American Medical Association.
