Driver faces drug charges after striking tree

A woman on drugs was trapped when her car slammed into a tree in Sunrise, police said. A 2008 Ford Focus driving west in the 10400 block of West Oakland Park Boulevard suddenly veered into the median and hit a tree about 5:30 p.m. May 16.
